Stockholm

After a few days in Oslo, we took a train to Stockholm.

The very charming Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde villa and museum which had great views across the water.

Vasa Museum - the Vasa was a huge wooden ship built in 1628 which sank on its maiden sailing.  It was dredged up from the mud of the harbor in the 1980's.

Oslo

After we got off the ship in Amsterdam, we flew to Oslo and stayed there for a few days.
We took a tour of Oslo Opera House - our docent was a retired ballerina so she had lots of backstage stories.
