Glacier National Park

Next we went across the border and stayed a few days in Glacier National Park,
first on the east side and then on the west side.  The scenery was incredible!!!

This was our cabin on the east side of the park.  Note our new car parked alongside.

We stopped here for lunch so Greg could have some huckleberry pie.
And we had dinner here for more huckleberries.
It had rained overnight and we awoke to rainbows right outside our cabin.

We drove over the "Going to the Sun" highway which was built in the side of the mountains in the 1930's.  It's only open a few months of the year because of the high altitude and lots of snow.

We stayed in a cabin on the property of this lodge on the west side of the park.
The lodge is lovely but the cabin was a dump.
