Ushuaia, Argentina and Glacier Alley

After being on the ship without landing for 7 days, we were glad to put our feet on land in Ushuaia.  Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world and it's surrounded by mountains and the sea.

Here are our ship and the "explorer" ship that we saw in Antarctica.

A small park dedicated to Evita

We sailed through the Beagle Channel when we left Ushuaia.

Then we sailed through an area called Glacier Alley.
There were 5 huge glaciers, each named after a European country.

Ferry boat going back to Ushaia from Punta Arenas, our next stop.
